Hello hello!! Before you go and judge me and think, life outside leggings, this girl must hate leggings. NOPE not even close to being true, I love leggings. I live in leggings, and in fact I’m wearing them right now.
The whole idea of this blog is to bust out of restrictions and stop hiding behind my comfortable high-waisted leggings. Those babies hide everything! I have been dealing with an “invisible” illness for over 10 years and I’m done with how society tells me to live my life, and treat my body. You will find a “no fucks given” attitude here and a no judgement zone. I am very open with sharing about my life, the struggles and my successes. I want you to feel like I’m your best friend to confine in, and the girl that will make you laugh when you have a bad day.
I also love fashion and for the first time in 12 years my “job” does not require yoga pants so we will explore all the fun finds. I love finding a good deal, but I will splurge if it is worth it. I’m a major online shopper because going into stores is too much chaos for me. So get ready for some good deals. When it comes to fashion I want to feel comfortable, and confident. I don’t believe that there is a one style fits all body types. I’m petite, but have some muscle and also rock some curves that grandma gave me. So finding trendy outfits can be a struggle, but my goal is that women who see my style can see themselves rocking these outfits, no matter the shape, size or age. PS I’m a big fan of sticky bras!
My husband and I moved from San Diego, California where we were both born and raised to sunny Arizona. And let me tell you, we are loving it. Everyone here is so nice and the weather is amazing, and yes it gets hot for 3 months a year, but there is like no humidity and there is this magical machine called air conditioning that is everywhere, so bring on the bikinis and shorts, I’m here for it! We moved into the cutest little community that we call our oasis in the desert so be prepared for lots of posts on our Life in Estrella. We are also working on making some mini me’s and infertility is a bitch let me tell you. But we know that one day we will have our sweet children.
